Retail Point
of Sale

The Point of Sale (POS) Module enables lumber and building materials distributors and dealers to handle transactions using barcode scanners and merchant debit and credit card terminals. The system accepts payments made by cash, on account, or by credit cards.


The system can be accessed using laptops, tablets, and smart phones (Windows, Android, and IOS) through a remote desktop connection. Sales, warehouse, and yard staff can utilize role-specific functions securely through their wireless devices. Some of these functions include quote generation, sales order entry, inventory inquiry, purchasing and receiving, and stock taking

Job Control

The Bidding and Job Control Module is also available to assist with sales to contractors and builders who are involved in large residential and commercial projects. This application is fully integrated into WoodPro's Financial and Lumber Management suite and is where all estimating, bidding, and job control activities originate. You can easily build a work plan and cost estimate for a job at any level of detail.


Optimize inventory management and control inventory costs and quantities for all locations with a real-time view of on hand, available, committed, and on order stock including vendor managed inventory. Inventory can be tracked be using tags, lots, lumber tally, barcodes and universal product codes (UPCs).

Conveniently define and generate items for a wide range of lumber and building products including: softwood lumber, hardwood, laminates, hardware, plywood, panel products, dimensional lumber, logs, poles, treated wood, engineered wood, pallets, millwork, roofing, fencing, paint and specialty wood products. Assign varying levels of description and categories to further classify inventory items and also organize lumber items using random length or random width.


Purchases can be linked directly to accounts payable, making it easier to track your purchases and pay vendors once inventory is received. You can also receive multiple shipments against a purchase order or prepay a vendor for an order before it is received.


A unified data model provides a single accurate, real-time view of all your accounting information, including general ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and financial statements. Data details can be seen through drill down capabilities, inquiry functions, and detailed reports for strategic cost analysis.


Reduce the time it takes to plan daily deliveries with the integrated Daily Route feature. Generate shipping documents and schedule orders to truckloads by weight for shipment to predetermined routes and zones.


Inventory transfers, sales, and purchase orders are linked to the Traffic Control module, allowing you to arrange shipments and charge delivery costs for external freight companies to each transaction in one place.
